My Secret Friend

I've been feeling pretty uninspired as far as blogging goes lately. I read a ton of books last month and felt superproud of that. Only 13 more books to go and I'll hit my 50 books challenge. Unfortunately it's nearly half way through October and I'm still faffing about with the same book - Wicked by Gregory Maguire. :P

In the meantime, I can enjoy a new music video by one of my all-time favourite bands. (There's only four.)

IAMX has teamed up with Imogen Heap and the music video is incredible. It's directed by Chris (IAMX himself) and his and Imogen's appearances are somewhat ... hmmm? Surprising ... and AWESOME!

Drag to the max!

Take a look . . . (Fullscreen)

How's Wicked going? Is it just something you're not liking?

I know, i haven't posted as much, i'm mainly doing Teaser Tues, WoW and book reviews. I'm pretty much tired, w/ school and all the craziness in life.

I'm so getting this song now :D

Imogen Heap is great! I love "Say Goodnight and Go," and "Let Go," and well, don't even get me started! Cool video!

Hi Ceri! I don't think I thanked you for the award you gave me... so thanks! :D I really appreciate it :) That's great that you're almost done with your challenge! Fifty books is a lot! Are you not liking Wicked or is life being annoying and taking away your reading time?

I know how you feel, I've been stuck in a leviathan book of short stories for a fortnight now. Urgh!

Amanda - It's good. It's okay but I've suddenly slowed down during the second half. I don't think I was expecting it to be as heavy as it was so I'm still trying to plough my way through it.

Faye - Get it! :-D IAMX is one of my favourite musicians.

Sarbear - I'll have to check those out. I actually had no idea who Imogen Heap was until I heard this song (I'm a huge IAMX fan - I've seen him twice) :)

Penguin - You're very welcome :) It's kind of a bit of both with Wicked. I am enjoying it but it's so serious and heavy that it drains away a lot of my energy to read if that makes sense.

Schatzi - It gets lethargic, doesn't it? You feel as though you must finish it but it's draining away your time. :-S

I was OK with Wicked - I liked it but then I tried to read Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister. I've picked it up three times and never made it past page 50.

Kerri - I've just managed to finish it. It was good, I enjoyed it, but I wasn't expecting something so heavy.

Naida - You should look up IAMX. One of my favourite musicians. :) ... A month? Yikes. I was like that with Doctor Zhivago recently. I decided to give up and try again some other time.
